Who am I? I am a Daughter of the Most High King!

Tonight I was just introduced to this new idea (atleast for me) of blogging. My friend (thanks Kathleen) says that she wants to live in the now so that is what I am doing. I guess for me I love to live in the now! I think that has been my problem all along. I don't look to the past or future I only see NOW! That is why I have caused so much pain. I know that things are different now but I still see myself prone to so much failure. I know that I am not the person I once was, By God's grace I am a new creation, the old has gone...the new has come. Thank you Jesus!!!!! I know that we are always told by the world around us that all that matters is what you want and stepping on the next person to get to the top of that sucess ladder. But What If I told you that in doing that you will find you have climbed the wrong ladder. My life isn't here to please you and it isn't here to even please me it is here for the one who sent me. I said I am a new creation, well that means that I am created and not the creator. SO, who do I live for the one who came here over 2000 years ago and gave up His life, for me. WOW! That is a humbling thought. The God who created the mountains, trees, valleys, oceans, the Grand Canyon, Hawaii (my favorite place on earth!), Europe, and even here Southern California wants a realationship with me. He can do anything for goodness sake He created the World. And yet I am made in His image and He desires me. I am just so blown away at that fact how can I ever complain. I have my Savior's full attention when I need it! That just floors me every time.

So you may already know me or you may not but this is who I am! I am a Child of God! I could give you all the Christianese top 5 phrases but I thought better than that I would let you into my heart. I am a Princess to the King, Yes! But deeper than just that I am a sinner truly saved by grace every second of the day. I fall short all the time. I fail all the time. I know that probably doesn't sound too appealing if you don't know Jesus, but let me inform you of something you may or may not know. I don't care if I am a failure, God doesn't care if I am a failure. The only thing He is concerned with is am I going to wallow in that or an I going to be victorious over it! I CHOOSE VICTORY!

Daily I have to put on my armor (thanks Pami) and consciously choose to walk in the Victory that God has already claimed for me. He only had to die ONCE! Thank you Jesus! I am a victorious Warrior, where I walk is HOLY ground, In the precious Holy name of Jesus I can stand tall and draw my line in the sand. No more Satan, will you have a hold on any part of my life! You are Defeated and Jesus Is the King! So if you have a problem with who I am in Christ, you can feel free and take that up with HIM!

As for now I am going to spend sometime in prayer. Praying for you and let you know that you too can be victorious. He already paid the price, now it is up to you to ask for that ransom payment on your behalf. Don't let Satan mess with your mind anymore. Choose victory TODAY! I did!

Perseverance vs. Endurance

Endurance is something I normally associate with sports, but really in the bible endurance is something that is to wait out the storm to wait it out and know that things will change. Waiting for things to change but just sitting back and riding out the storm. I have endured a lot of things but what does that really show about my character? Nothing except that I know how to wait things out sometimes. That I can sit back and ride the wave, or have a bit of patience for things to change. Warring further still...

Knowing that this season in my life is where it should be is probably easier to accept, than for me to accept the truths of what God Himself has spoken to me about the future. I will tell you that what I am walking through is difficult and hard, but what God has spoken to me is even harder. Not because it will be painful, although I am sure it will be at times, but because of the reality and gravity of what it is. I am in a season of prepping, I believe, in my life for the next season of living out what I know God has said. He has given me direction in many areas of my life and yet I am in this waiting game. Tonight I was reminded that as Jesus had the cross before Him, those hours in the garden right before were necessary. He needed to go and seek the face of His Father. He needed to go further still. 1 Thes. 5:16-18

"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thes. 5:16-18 NIV How simple are these three verses and yet we think that there is so much more we need to do, for us to be in God's will. We take them in and let them out so easily. As if God CAN'T want something so simple, He is a BIG God and so He MUST want something BIG. This is a lie. We run around in circles trying to figure out the will of God and yet we can't seem to find it because we are looking in the WRONG direction. We hear God, We MOVE, and then leave God in the dust because He made a turn and we didn't hear him because we didn't STOP and ask. God doesn't change, His plans for us don't change, YET we seem to think that He is the one that changes when we head in the wrong direction. We blame Him for ditching us and not telling us when to move, when REALLY it is us who didn't stop and ask for a new direction.
