Pictured...
Ever looked at a picture and wondered what was going on right before and after that? I have, I always wonder if what is captured in that picture is actually what was happening before. Have you ever thought that when God shows you something in your life, it is a snap shot of what God has for you? Have you ever thought that maybe the things that you see in that picture aren't always the way reality plays out? I believe what the word says, "Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets." Amos 3:7 I also believe that in the New Testiment in 1 Cor. 14 it talkes about receiving gifts from the Holy Spirit and it says, "Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy. For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit. But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. He who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be edified. Since you are eager to have spiritual gifts, try to excel in gifts that build up the church." I say this so that you know I am speaking from the Word. Ok so the reason I bring this up comes back to my question in the beginning. When God speaks to me alot of times it is with a picture or a short clip of something happening, either in the spiritual at the moment or possilby in the future. I get excited at times or emotional depending on what is going on but I always know that like the word says God will reveal to his prophets. I know that there is so many things God wants to do in the lives of others around us and for to be used in those things. Just remember to look for clues in how He wants those things to come forth. Remember, God will bless you so that you can be a blessing to others. I know I am Blessed to be a blessing. Thank you Jesus!
